Injection-molded parts are decided long before the production run. A drawing, resin, tolerance, surface, colour, tooling arrangement, and approved first article all affect the outcome. If these items remain informal, factories may quote the same picture against different technical assumptions.

• Which dimensions are critical and how will they be measured?
